DSP based motion card 2-8 axis motion card for servos, steppers, PWM or hydraulic motors. ISA & PCI versions are both available. A dual processor closes the servo loop independently from the mother boards CPU. Known to be proven with over 200,000 motion cards shipped to date. Provides reliable servo update times up to within 62.5 microseconds resulting in cutting feedrate velocities of up to 122,000 IPM which is far greater than today's servo motor technology. Dual processor designs allow multiple events and multiple positioning motions to happen simultaneously. Two card versions are available. A full featured card with 2-8 analog outputs, 7 analog inputs, 2-8 main encoder channels, 2-8 auxilary encoder channels and between 22-40 digital I/O. Another model card is available without the analog inputs and auxilary encoder channels at a lower cost.

The software package includes:

Inter Connect Module that serves as the wiring connection between your computer and machine tool. Inside this box are labeled silk screened terminal connections for your motors, encoders, limit switches, home switches, digital I/O, 5 vdc power, 12 vdc power, ground and e-stop.

120 point I/O Digital card includes cable and your choice of either 5 relay racks or 3 terminal strips. If the terminal strips are used, no relays are required, but the voltage is fixed at TTL level. If relay racks are selected, the relays are voltage specific and must be ordered separately according to voltage. The relays are standard Opto 22 style optically isolated solid state relays, which are insertable with your fingers. The relays are color coded according to voltage and may be mixed and matched on the same board. The standard board provides your choice of input and output configurations in groups of 24 in or out. You may mix relay racks for higher voltage requirements with terminal strips when using the same board. The total number of digital I/O on the system will be in addition to the digital I/O on the motion card.
